Service Desk Team Manager - Shift based

I am currently working with a leading software service provider who are looking for a Service Desk Manager to manage the internal customer facing service desk team. This is a permanent role based in central London and will cover 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8am - 12pm on a rota.

*Management of the IT service desk team
*Act as the IT change manager
*Responsible for IT Service Management (ITSM) components, incident, problem, service request, change management and configuration management
*Provide technical support and guidance to the team
*Be able to get stuck in and hands on technically when necessary
*Prioritise service desk workloads
*Define, implement and report service desk KPIs
*Manage service desk projects
*Continuously improve processes
*Monitor infrastructure and maintain compliance with latest security requirements
*Set and agree goals aligned to Technical Operations strategy

Experience required:
*Previous experience as a team lead within a service desk environment
*Working in a service desk environment with:
oActive Directory
oWindows Servers
oWindows 7/10
oMS Office
*Working knowledge of virtualisation, Linux, Mac OS and iOS is ideal
*ITIL Foundation
