Supply Chain Team leader- Stonehouse- Permanent

I am currently working with a global leader within the oil and gas sector who are looking for a Supply Chain Team Leader to join their well-established team in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire for a permanent opportunity.

Job scope:
*Responsible for managing the supply of a product during the NPD and TLM Product Development processes. including the establishment of reliable, stable, and Lean supply chain processes.
*Minimize disruptions from the concept phase through the feasibility and development to commercialization of new designs
*Process improvement to support NPD- TLM Project acceleration
*Leads supplier evaluation, assessment, qualification, and onboarding processes,
*Lead NPD Project material management and capacity booking process
*Ensure all the parts are sourced and delivered on time to meet project as per the Quarterly and Major delivery milestone
*Implements sourcing plans and tactics to effectively manage the sourcing and procurement
*Ensure all CDP deliverables and associated DFX actions are completed as per the Project timeline
*Rapid response and Reliability Project acceleration
*Assess supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability.

*Directs the NPD on a wide range of supply chain concepts and enforces supply chain plans.
*Secure supply and minimize disruptions from the concept phase through the feasibility and development to commercialization of new designs in accordance with Category Sourcing Strategies and support all FTE build plan, DFP and field sales order.
*Complete all DFX deliverables in a timely manner assigned NPD- TLM sourcing projects to assure on-time completion and guaranteed supply.
*Source and set up all required parts within applicable business system.
*Leads the RFI/Q/P (Request for Information / Quotation / information/ Proposal) and bidding processes through Ariba minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and total cost of ownership
*Leads supplier evaluation, assessment, qualification, and selection processes, up to parts & process qualification, in coordination with Supplier Quality teams, and Supplier Managers if applicable
*Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers to meet specified quality, delivery and cost objectives
*Leads the contracting process with suppliers in coordination with Supply Chain Contract Specialists and other stakeholders
*Builds strong relationships with internal customers to meet defined objectives
*Complies with all Schlumberger, EMS and local procedures applicable to the job function

*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
*Experience in CAD is highly preferred.
*Strong experience in Sourcing supplier development, contract negotiation, total acquisition cost analysis
*Cost modelling
*Proven capability with data management and control principles
*Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written
*Strong time-management and task prioritization skills
*Detail-oriented with proven ability for accuracy

*Experience in design engineering, new product development as part of an integrated project team, and/or manufacturing experience
*CIPS qualified / qualification incorporating Supply Chain Management
*Purchasing and procurement experience
*Commodity experience
*Fluent other languages

*Bachelor's in supply chain, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering with experience in Supply Chain or equivalent combination of higher degree from an accredited university or college / experience.
