Technical Lead - Bracknell - 3 Month Contract - £450 - £500

My client a leading consultancy are currently looking for an experienced technical lead wiht a background in Mobile/App Development to work onsite for a leading automotive organisation based in Bracknell.

Contract Length: 3 Months

You will manage technical deliveries across a range of platforms to meet the goals of the appropriate project, interfacing with business analyst, project manager and testers as well as keeping a focus on performance of the solution.

Key Accountabilities

You are responsible for the day to day running of one or multiple project deliveries. This includes responsibility for solution design, best practice, standards and performance optimisation.
Accountable for planning and managing day-to-day activities associated with delivery of the technical aspects of the project plan.
Management of multiple development partners or an outsourced development team to ensure delivery against the objectives, to the required standards and in line with the project plan.
Corporate Governance
Understand company policies and procedures and operate within the guidelines
Creates and maintain a positive working environment and foster team working, both within the department and between departments.
As member of the Application Delivery leadership team, the role holder may be asked to fulfil other general IT management duties as well - for example related to financial management, organisation design, change management and other interim management duties
Comply with regulatory requirements
Within Portfolio work with peers and the Technical Product Manager to ensure
Applications that perform within agreed service criteria
Implemented applications that do not have more than agreed level of priority bugs
A development team that operates as part of OneIT irrespective of location
Rationalisation and standardisation of toolsets and methodologies
Quality systems delivered on time and on budget
A motivated trained team that delivers on time and to budget
High visibility of the progress of the developers
Systems & enhancements that meet full DLC & SDLC requirements that are fully SOx & PCI compliant

Skills and Experience

A minimum of 5 years' experience of leading, supporting or working alongside an offshore or hybrid development team
Proven track record of delivering (or managing delivery of) performant, standards compliant web sites
Experience of working within Agile development projects and as part of an Agile team
Good understanding of common interface structures such as XML, JSON
Significant experience of delivering software solutions in a commercial environment
Work experience in a complex international environment interfacing to business and IT leadership
