Warehouse/Stock Control Engineer/Warehouse Administrator

My client is a highly dynamic and successful IT Services organisation with a strong presence across the UK. They currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse admin/Stock controller to join their team in Central Scotland.

On a short-term basis initially, the role will be based in a warehouse environment with the post holder responsible for the co-ordination of goods in/out, stock control, customer liaison and general administration duties.

The ideal candidate should have proven organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage their time effectively. You should be confident dealing with people at a variety of levels; and have a willingness to learn

Role and Responsibilities:

Goods-In
- Prepare for arrival of deliveries
- Receipt of goods to electronic system
- Liaise with couriers regarding any delivery issues
- Arrange deliveries to third party storage

Goods-Out
- Plan deliveries, contacting customers and couriers
- Generate order picks and shipping documents via the electronic system
- Create shipment labels and manifests via Courier software
- Create Customer Acceptance Forms (CAF's) as required
- Arrange delivery of Legacy items to disposal partner

Stock Control
- Allocate and monitoring stock levels for customer asset tags
- Monitor SLA's (Service Level Agreements)
- Prepare weekly stock counts
- Arrange stock call-off from third party storage
- Update third party storage stock records <
- Liaise with Internal and External Customers
- Recognise any errors in paperwork (purchase orders, sales orders, pick lists, shipping details)
- Work with logistics colleagues to ensure delivery SLA's are met
- Work with the IT Build Room, to ensure services are delivered within agreed SLA's
- Work with customers via phone and email
- Manage use of Waste Disposal facilities, arranging uplifts and certified documents
- Manage logistics of vehicles, weekly checks, arrange hired vehicles
- Prepare third party weekly stock counts
