Our customer was struggling to retain its employees. As quickly as they were hiring, employees were leaving, starting the vicious circle of never being able to meet their headcount plans.
What we did:
Consulted with HR, Managers and Employees to understand why people were leaving and identified that the key levers were remuneration and lack of career opportunity. This triggered a number of key initiatives:
- Fully reviewing compensation plans against the market with follow up recommendations.
- Developing an internal mobility policy leading to greater opportunities for internal moves.
- Launching 2 internship programmes to support long term needs.
Attrition rates reduced by 20% and employee surveys reported an increase in engagement.
