Job description

Data Product Manager- Initial 6-month contract- UK based.
I am currently working with a global leader within the automotive sector who are looking for an experienced Data Product Manager to join their UK team for an initial 6-month contract which could extend.

The role:
As a Data Product Manager, you will be reporting into the Head of Data Products and will be leading the development of data offerings and opportunities for a specific product domain within the company. You will own the strategy and the roadmap for the data domain and will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs/requirements and create fantastic data solutions.

Responsibilities:
*Manage the full life cycle for new data features and products (from requirements through to execution).
*Work closely with key business and stakeholders to deliver high-scale products which is trusted, understood, and governed to ensure commercial value being added to the business.
*Create the pathway to enhance the data maturity of the data domain, which will help to compliment the wider data strategy and roadmap.
*Communicate regular updates to all key stakeholders at each stage of the way.
*Work alongside other team leaders (business unit/technology/functional) to develop the product data strategy.
*Own and communicate the data product roadmap and deliver internal/external facing solutions which will help the building capability of AWS, Tableau, and Snowflake.

Experience needed:
*5+ years as a Data Product Owner
*Extensive knowledge in Modern data and analytics practices.
*Extensive knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
*Experience in Agile project execution.
*Able to manage and coordinate complex tasks and project schedules as well as develop and execute a rollout plan.
*A passionate data innovator who understands that data is an asset, which can be both monetised and crafted to drive business value.
*Proven experience in leading and delivering end to end projects independently.
*Must have proven ability to drive through change in a fast paced, service- oriented environment.
*Collaborative team leadership, both remotely and on location, delegation, personnel management

Education:
*A Bachelor's degree in related field
