Product Performance Manager - 12 month rolling contract - FULLY REMOTE (office based in Germany)

The Company:

My client is a globally leading Renewable Energy & Utilities organisation who are on a combined mission to deliver effective and sustainable energy solutions with exceptional customer experience. This particular division of the business is focusing on establishing themselves as the leading clean energy company that will serve millions of customers within Africa. The performance of the product during development up to launch is highly prioritised and will be further achieved through a new needed resource of a Product Lead.

The Role:

Working with the current Product Management Heads, the Product Performance Manager will define and manage the development processes in addition to driving the test and validation of all products. The successful applicant will work closely with the Supply Chain organisation to ensure of an efficient handover to production. Whilst you will be responsible for overseeing a team, the role will still combine hands-on engineering as well as efficient team management - a perfect opportunity for a candidate looking to have a blend of the two!

Main Responsibilities:

Take full responsibility of a range of development projects.
Effectively manage all test and validation processes to be executed as accurately as possible.
By defining and assessing KPIs for product performance, lead all reviews of the products in the field to maintain optimum organisational value.
Continuously ensure optimum product/market fit by working closely with the Product Management team.
Organise and facilitate regular resource planning meetings.
Key Skills & Experience Required:

8+ years in a Product Development role.
Testing and validation experience of hardware products is an important requirement.
Proven experience in leading a team, preferably Engineering related.
Familiarity with Supply Chain & Manufacturing businesses is a bonus.
Strong communication and confident people skills is a must.
As stated, the candidate can be based remotely within Europe as this can be performed fully working from home.
