Senior Data Governance Manager

Working outside IR35 on an initial 6 month contract. Hybrid working.

You will Provide guidance and leadership for Data Governance, Quality, and MDM (Master Data Management) across the business and be a subject matter expert representing data governance at all levels across the organisation.

Responsibilities:
*Develop, own and report on risk controls, key data risk indicators and operational metrics to manage assigned data risk and provide assurances remain within agreed tolerance levels.
*Play an influential role & provide guidance and leadership in areas of expertise to mature & embed Data Governance, quality and MDM in collaboration with key stakeholders; own the business outcomes & roadmap and lead agreed opportunities related to areas of expertise.
*Operate the Sales Accreditation ingestion process to agreed SLA's and deliver agreed improvements.
*Lead, provide SME input, support and where necessary proactively manage relevant data issues & incidents.
*Provide thought leadership, mentoring & training on data governance, quality, and MDM practices, improving awareness across the business; maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging trends
*Serve as a liaison between Business, Functional and technology areas for allocated projects to ensure that related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning
*Act as Business Owner for agreed Data Governance Products I.e., ERRF, Significant Activity Business Rules, Data Governance Tooling, One Trust Tooling, Reference data management and V2 Sales Files Ingestion.
*Define, own and operate processes to oversee the management of data assets e.g. Business Glossary, Data Lineage and Data profiling.

*Collaborative leadership style, driving direction through influencing and managing ambiguous situations.
*Ability to build strategic internal partnerships with key internal customers across the business.
*Data risks, auditing, information security, data protection, data management subject matter expertise.
