Test Automation Engineer - TypeScript, Playwright

Opportunity for a skilful and highly motivated Test Automation Engineer to join the the financial department of the worlds leading Music Streaming app. You will automate predefined tests for business critical ERP System (NetSuite) using a newly developed Test Automation Platform that utilises Playwright and TypeScript to author tests. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• You will create tests using TypeScript, following existing test examples and templates.
• You will deliver tests according a mutually agreed velocity and can rely on tight collaboration and support from the Test Management team.
• You will report progress, challenges and blockers in daily standups and provide input to a weekly status report.
• You will happily support and mentor a manual tester who will continue to upskill in test automation.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You know how to develop test solutions using TypeScript and maybe have experience of automating SaaS systems.
• You are experienced with web based test automation and have used Playwright (preferred), cypress or other test automation tools.
• You care about service, stakeholder expectations and delivering on time.
• You have successfully delivered robust test automation solutions according to challenging deadlines.

This position will be based 100% remotely - Contract falls inside of IR35 regulations - £500 max. day rate. - 3 months initial length.
